Why we pick it

An 8-core i3-N305 and 32GB of DDR5 out of the box
Two NVMe slots and two 2.5GbE ports
4.2 stars from 64 ratings

The catch

The 32GB is soldered and cannot be upgraded. Many buyers install TrueNAS or Unraid instead of TOS.

4 bay in one line

The sweet spot: four drives in RAID 5 or SHR lose only one drive to protection, and you can grow the pool later. Pick this if your library will outgrow one drive.
